Charter Reform Plan

Snohomish County deserves a charter that works for all of us, not just those closest to Everett. Ethan is running to strengthen transparency, improve rural representation, and modernize our county’s foundational document. He supports expanding the County Council to reflect population growth and holding more public meetings in rural areas. He will advocate for a stronger public advocate office to ensure residents have real tools to hold local government accountable. Ethan also supports charter reforms that promote integrity, such as limiting officials to one elected office at a time, improving campaign finance transparency, and removing outdated language. With firsthand experience in local planning and labor negotiations, Ethan brings the practical knowledge needed to deliver meaningful change.
